The beachfront location of this hotel was absolutely stunning. The beach was clean, quiet, and perfect for long walks. It offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, exactly what I was looking for. the breakfast at the hotel was fantastic. There was a wide variety of options to choose from, and everything was fresh and delicious.
Despite the beautiful location and friendly staff, I have to mention that the hotel itself seemed to be aging and in need of some maintenance. The rooms were a bit old and could use some updating.

The rooms are enormous and the location is quite pretty. It was also pretty clean and the grounds were well kept and tidy. It has its own beach and there are bicycles and Booked.nets available for free.
We didn't like this place though. It's very overpriced. There's a 4% charge for paying with a card on top of the price quoted on Booked.net. Definitely not 4-star accommodation even though the rooms are enormous. The carpets, windows, locks and cupboards in the room all show signs of wear. Our room didn't have a safe and the door to the balcony couldn't be locked. There is a ridge between the bathroom and living room and between the bathroom and bedroom that is very easy to miss but extremely painful when you, as will happen, slam your toes into it. We resorted to putting towels down on the floor. The staff were not very helpful or welcoming. They didn't help with our luggage and kept us waiting a long time both at check-in and check-out. They couldn't process our payment on arrival so did so when checking out but kept us waiting while someone was sent to see if we had used the minibar in the room. I told them we hadn't but they said they had to check. No trust and as the rooms are miles away from the reception, you're left standing there while someone is sent to take a look. Bad customer service. The location is very poor. It's miles away from the main tourist areas and taxis are very reluctant to go all the way there. As a result, you'd think they'd have loads of motorbikes available for rent. They don't. They have 10 and they are always taken. The resort is huge so you are likely to be staying in a cabin that is a significant walk away from the reception or eating areas. The WiFi is extremely slow. The breakfast was ok, though again, the staff aren't the most friendly and the kitchen doesn't look all that clean. There are also lots of stray dogs around looking for scrap food. I'd give this place a wide birth unless all you want to do is get away from everything and walk between your room and the beach each day.

Stayed here with two friends for new years eve. Had great time, idyllic setting and really unique. Fantastic beach. Only downside is you are a long way from ferry and have to get taxi everywhere, but still not that much of an issue as spent a lot of time on private beach and dint mind paying for taxi for nights out to white sand/lonley beach. Would reccomend floating chalets as oopose to hotel boat

The beach was stunningly beautiful and quiet, providing a peaceful vacation. the hotel's location was perfect for those looking for a break from typical tourism crowds. the staff were friendly and polite throughout the stay.
The hotel's facilities were ageing and not properly maintained. the rooms were dirty, old, and smelly.

Nice private beach... And that's all. Really, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody. Awful rooms: Galaxy is big ulgy ship, rooms are dirty and small. Restaurant is the worst restaurant in Thailand. Hotel personal trying their best, but always fail. Bicycles are free, but completely destroyed, and still people could steal your bicycle while you are dining. Hotel is very far from civilization, taxi charges 150 baht per person to get you to Bang Bao. A lot of russians fighting for sunbeds... make you feel like you are in Sochy... So, in short - this is worst hotel in Koh Chang. Just book something else.

We enjoyed the beach. It was private, and just a beautiful stretch of sand and water.
The floor in two of the rooms we had were sticky. The office managers didn't repair the shower after we notified them it didn't work. The elevators didn't regularly work. The breakfast buffet was often out of food or it came out cold, when it did come out.

I had a fantastic stay at this beachfront resort. The setting was idyllic, with a beautiful beach and unique atmosphere. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities were top-notch. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast provided delicious options. Additionally, the private beach was a major highlight, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Nothing to fault.

The beach was great white sand. Clean and a lot of it !! very safe for kids.
The staff were not very friendly (maybe because they are mostly from Cambodia and not Thailand) and the breakfast was a bit unorganised the rooms were old but ours were clean. When we arrived the staff could not find our booking but did in the end. The hotel needs a skake-up and update !! You could find better for the money on the island

If you're looking for a tranquil getaway, Aunchaleena Beach Front Resort is the perfect place for you. Its secluded location away from all the hustle and bustle of the main beaches ensures a peaceful and serene atmosphere. You can relax on the boats in the lagoon or take a leisurely stroll along the private beach. Although it may be a bit inconvenient to go to the main beaches, the resort offers shuttle services for your convenience. the rooms are spacious and well-maintained, and the staff provides excellent service, ensuring that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. the breakfast selection is varied and delicious, providing a great start to your day.
The bar on the beach could be a bit pricey, but the overall experience at Aunchaleena Beach Front Resort more than makes up for it.

The Beach was excellent. It was clean and very long for a resort.
Everything. The staff weren't friendly or helpful. We didn't have our room changed for the first two days we stayed. The facilities were extremely sub-par for the money. We stayed over NYE and were forced to spend on a "compulsory" New Years Eve dinner. The cost was 1,000B each and consisted of no drinks (including water) and the food was about the quality of market food possibly worse. Horrible Hotel, which is too bad considering it sits on an ideal property. Stay someplace else

The best about the place was a long beach that was not crowded. The bungalows were cute. Because the location (great beach, tucked away) and the idea was so great, one was willing to give the place some leeway, but in the end, the place just did not meet expectations. Chantelle - the main front desk service person was very helpful.
The place had seen its better days. Most of the staff was very inexperienced and most likely had never worked at a hotel/resort beforehand. Only the main front desk person, Chantelle, was able to provide real customer service in English. The food was bland and cold. One had to pay a 4% extra charge on all credit card payments - including the Booked.net reservation which was not . The beach bar with no customers played loud music late into the night, disturbing bungalows. Even requests to turn it down did not always work. The location was far away from the rest of the places in Koh Chang and many taxis would not take one there or would charge much extra. Not good price/quality match compared to rest of places on Koh Chang

The location is superb, beautiful beach, really lovely mountain backdrop and the resort - although in need of some love and care - is very unusual, with its boats scattered around the lagoon.
Both the beach bar and the beach restaurant play incredibly loud (mostly Russian) pop music all day long. If this is not your thing, chose another hotel as there is absolutely no getting away from it. Starts at about 10 am and stops around midnight. For us personally, it was a reason to check out and find somewhere else to stay.

The boat (Chomvaree4) was very charming, spacious and nice, we liked it very much! And the view/location/beach was amazing. Bike-theme was fun, but all bikes were crap - unfortunately. Not many other guests, we had the resort almost to our selves.
Website said that you had 3 restaurants on the resort, but we only found one operating. Location and view was nice, but it was overpriced, staff didn't speak or spoke very poor English. Breakfast was terrible, we are not picky but all members of our family lost a few pounds during our stay - great if you're on a diet, but not a holiday! The pool area was falling apart (literally) and The Galaxy looked like something found on the ocean floor, not a "floating hotel with amenities of a 5 star hotel"... And on top we disliked the taxi-system with way overpriced possibilities to leave the resort! We had troubles getting taxis back to the resort, because the driver had to pay you a special fare - and nobody likes to pay 400 b for a 10 minute drive. We are definitely not coming back, still we see a great potential for the resort, if someone cared to do something about the many things that were unacceptable. The boat-theme was the reason we chose you, but you need to step it up a lot. Please fix the bikes, lower the prices and learn staff to speak English - and let the island-taxis operate on your resort.

The beach was ok.
Rooms booked unavailable at check-in. Alternative rooms offered were dark and unclean. Attitude of staff was surly, uncaring and unhelpful. Every other resident we met was unhappy with resort and staff. Location is terrible and no free hotel shuttle to anywhere. Hotel added 4% charge for use of credit card on final bill - this is a hidden extra that Booked.net says does not exist. Food was attrocious. One resident even took over from chef at breakfast to show him how to cook eggs and ham. Pictures of resort on your site are misleading - the resort is faded, jaded and uncared for. The photos are from years gone by. I would advise anyone to avoid this resort. There are plenty better on the island.
